Reilly Road Farmers Market and Carolina Market were merged to create what's now Pate's Farm Market.
Reilly Road Farmers Market was a small corner store that was located at 445 North Reilly Road, Fayetteville, NC. For years it offered its customers the best quality products you could ask for. Fresh produce, flowers, old-fashioned pantry items, eggs, jams, honey, and seasonal goods.
In 2011, Reilly Road Farmers Market was remodeled but soon after that, a tornado struck North Reilly Road. "Reilly Road Farmer's Market was a total loss..." Bryan Mims for WRAL News. The EF3 tornado took the front porch and roof panels of the market. The flowers in the outside area were all scattered through the floor. Hanging baskets of Ferns found their way to the bathroom inside the store. The event was a disaster but that didn't mean the end for Reilly Road Farmers Market. A stronger roof was built and the market was back in business.
Carolina Market was located at 4400 Raeford Road, Fayetteville, NC, beside the Chevrolet car dealer. For years it offered seasonal items like flowers and vegetables in spring and summer, pumpkins, mums and pansies in fall, and Christmas trees in winter.
In 2021 both businesses closed it's doors for the last time to move to a new location under the name of Pate's Farm Market.
